I try to open the jarfile but I doesn't work. I always get the message: Could not find the mainclass.
I have installed java.

What am I doing wrong?

How do I move my playerdata from my old computer to my new? I tried to copy .bak file but that does not seem to do the trick :(

The data is stored in those 2 files in the 'db' folder.

I have similar problem. Just cant start SV. It was working a week ago.

java update usually kills the program...

True, i installed Java SDK last week. I wanted to play arround with Android Apps.
But what to do now?

there is a pure exe on the official page, that helped me once.
but in worse, download again, and import the datas!
(dont delete this version, because later, on other update, it will work again:D)

The SDK includes a JRE. It should work with this JRE as well.

I wish it would output something, but nothigh at all.

Did you try starting it from cmd/console?

You have to install some kind of Java JRE. I think there should be even one pre-installed in Ubuntu (typically OpenJDK).

Then you only need to launch it with something like "java -jar sokkerviewer/launcher.jar".
