This tax curve is good (at some point). The way I see first of all is to try to replicate in real life that a player can have a contract of at least 1 season at any club, so now you have to plan better and not buy and sell as crazy.

Edit: also If you want to test the performance of a player you might need to wait more than half season, which the team work will recover after a transfer

The Longer a contract the higher the transfer price, makes sense to say kinda yes ....

Well, now you will need to be more careful when signing new players. Not much you can do, but you had a chance to sell them before the taxing system started.

Thanks for that feedback, but I have no idea how I could be more careful. All my new players have better skills than the ones I used to have, yet some of them are just underperforming.

Agreed, there's not much I can do... and that's the problem, I'm stuck with what I have. The game feels absolutely boring right now for me.
