Onderwerp: Fans mood... Bug?

Hi everyone.

I'll give you an example of what happened to me:

I finished last championship: 4th in Serie A and victorious in the Italian Cup. Fans mood: satisfied

first day of the new season: fans mood drops 3 levels at "they are waiting for you at home" without anything happening... and I lost 14 fans after that good championship...

last week I won my Champions Cup match against a strong, highly ranked opponent, 6-1!!! and fans mood didn't pop up...

today i won my Serie A match against a strong, highly ranked opponent, 8-1!!! and fans mood didn't pop up...

something wrong...

It’s unfirtunetly not a bug, it’s what devs call an update.

I’m sad to say that the update has gone horribly wrong.

Here’s what i posted in another forum thread regarding this change:
Hey what about that fan mood drop. Previous season i surpassed my fans expectations, this season i’m surpassing them again. My mood dropped to satisfied end of previous season, hasn’t changed since. This is rubish…

Devs your changes are like you’re asking for advice on freecodecamp forum and implement them without knowing if it will work and how to fix it when the implemented lines if code don’t work.

Just change it back please, for your own sake…this is just embarrassing to be honest.

first day of the new season: fans mood drops 3 levels

that's because of seasons expectations

as for the rest: yes, they as always fucked up the new thing and it doesn't work

My fan mood is 1 (by name) but on the graph it's 0
After Cup win it stayed the same
After 2 league losses it stayed the same

Wow that's what I wanted to ask!

My team finished second in the league far beyond expectations, as I am ranked lower than almost everyone else. And I finished a season in "Your supporters are delighted with their club`s performance" mood.

This season I have 2 wins from 2 games, against the champion(!!!) and against another team ranked above me, and my fans is still in "Your supporters are delighted with their club`s performance" !

insane.!!!!!!!
I don't know how to move forward from here to tell the truth.. it's ridiculous.

Don’t they test changes out before launching? Seems rediculous to roll out a change and for it not to work. If nothing else, us users will bitch and moan about it, and it’s probably a lot more work to fix a change that doesn’t work once rolled out?

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I’m guessing another failed “upgrade” that will be set back to the way it was, to keep the plus users happy.

They should be working on changes like:
- youth school (shorter seasons, poor pulling skills, impssibility to estimate players potential so you’re not wasting a spot, maximum pulling skills regarding 19yo and 20yo pulls)
- Free agent players, to lower the effect of teams with “generational wealth”
- Naturalisation of players to make NTs of small countries more equal
- etc.

One could even set salaries based on the baseline level + add-on that depends on the price paid. This way the teams with a lot of money would be deterred from offering bids that are out of market.

Btw these teams with a lot of saved money have already been targeted in other ways, for instance they have way too high expectations from the fanbase (which means lower matchday income from tickets).

I'm one of those teams and honestly... all it did was make me care even less about the results, I don't give a damn about my league this season:)

Before I was trying to be in the top with what I actually have & train. Now whatever I'm doing, my mood will be down & I will fail the expectations (they would want me to win every league from IV to Ekstraklasa because I have 200m euro on my account, doesn't matter I have a 58-60 rating) so after each season my mood will be down to 0/7 anyway, whether I end up 2nd or 10th.

So what's the point? I will "get back" the money by not investing in the squad at all since it doesn't matter anyway. Originally planned to aim for top 3 as always, instead I will probably just go down and sell my two 25yo stars.

If you ask me, let people play the way they want. It does not bother me if u have 200M. Spend it all on players, save up and go for a push, or just keep training and selling.
Fanclub system worked for 20 years, this here is not an improvement, we are straight up being told how the game will be played now and if you don't comply, you will be punished.

I don't think it matters, but my vote would be to change it back and let people play the way they want.

I think it's right that the game is trying to encourage people to play to their legitimate level. I'm not convinced that fan mood is quite the right way to do it.
2024-03-27 21:18:34
if you don't comply, you will be punished

that's the main problem of new owners, I tried explaining this to Raul many times...

they have a completely wrong approach to changes, they should be making people WANT to do some things on their own - instead they are punishing people trying to MAKE them do what the owners want

people don't like being forced to do anything... and people in general don't like negatives, especially in changes of things that they are used to after xx years of playing
the changes should be positive and enriching, not negative and punishing

Player salary change was already a huge middle finger to smaller communities, made it very clear that the Champions cup is for the big bois...

This fan mood reform, feels the same, It will punish people for actually trying to play above their "legitimate level".

Gap between a small and the largest community was never that huge before.
