Damn! Now Niceman has to find new home :(

Heikki will go to Williams. Maybe it's better for him, so he doesn't always have to back-up Hamilton.
2009-10-02 17:07:46
I guess you are right, Williams might be better place for him afterall..

McLaren saying "equal treatment for both drivers" has been total bs at least in this and last season. Just like when Hakkinen and Coulthard were driving there.. But I guess it's just part of this sport we have to accept... :/

Do you think McLaren acted against Kovalainen and Coulthard? Didn't seem like that to me :-S
(gewijzigd)
2009-10-02 21:31:08
There was always heavily preffered driver in McLaren in every season from 1997 to 2009, new parts, setups, tactics...
2009-10-02 23:16:09
Best driver comes to best team... :) Grande Fernando!

Ferrari have built their new car for a whole season now, i wonder what kinda supercar they got for next season:P
2009-10-02 23:19:07
99-04 again?
2009-10-02 23:19:31
kinda seems so:P
2009-10-02 23:20:30
As a ferrari fan I think thats imposible :P

But they even let Coulthard and Hakkinen crash against each other in turn 1 of a Grand Prix :P
I think the battle was fair, and Hakkinen won simply becasue he was very good and Coulthard sucked :P
In fact, I remember McLaren almost killing Hakkinen twice, once with a loose wheel and once with a rear wing flying away at 300km/h. Actually, similar things happened to Raikkonen and Kovalainen. I think someone in McLaren doesn't like Finnish very much :P

And the same applies to Hamilton/Alonso, Hamilton/Kovalainen, Sena/Prost... McLaren always let its drivers fight on the track. An McLaren is always terrible at handling any conflict that may arise between them :P

But they even let Coulthard and Hakkinen crash against each other in turn 1 of a Grand Prix

They didnt let them, it was Coulthards silly mistake :)

In fact when you look even further back there was always number 1 in McLaren, something their fans like to tell about Ferrari...

even with senna?
