I reckon if I watched the films now I might not like them. I used to like the Street Fighter movie too, but rewatched it and that came to an end.

Nah, Vilpu really likes this kind of movies.

I like all sort of movies. Starting from action/comedies and ending with serious dramas...
Few movies I have watched and liked recently - The Blind side, Disturbia, Law abiding citizen, Moon, Sherlock Holmes, Zombieland, Unthinkable, The Machinist etc...Have several sports movies also.

Well you like cheap action movies, it's an opinion basing on what you've kept on writing here.
I'm not saying, that you like only this kind of films.

I'm not really keeping up with the latest movies, though I'm watching some oldies from Lynch, Jarmusch, Allen etc.

When I do like them, then so what? Do popular kids watch different and extremely intelligent movies?

What do you call a cheap action movie? A-team? That was far from being near cheap.
And arguing about taste is lame.

Cheap action movies are cheap because they are stuffed with cliches. Just grab a DVD of an action movie, forward the movie to the 60 minute mark, and you will be watching a really important action/effects sequence in the film.

500 days of summer

Watched (500) Days of Summer a couple of days ago. Actually pretty good, I'm going to buy it soon.

Just saw "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider", it was amazing !
