Same thing happened with "Lost". First 2 seasons were amazing (I think in the beginning it was only projected to be a 2 season or even one season mini series). But when they saw how popular it was they had to extended to 6 seasons and made a complete mess

And the ending ruined it all. Made me think "What a wasted time watching 6 series of that bullshit"

Because being disappointed by the end ruins all the fun you had while watching it?

Well, I had fun watching it. That fun cannot be taken away if I wouldn't like the end (which I did).

Yes! Totally

Well that's absolutely impossible. Future cannot have an impact on the past.

lol

Well while it may ruin your future with this woman, it doesn't destroy the past you had and the fun times in your memory. And that's what tv-series are for, they are for having fun while watching them, right? Maybe some people also like to bash tv-series after the ending and that is part of the fun of watching them? :D

When I watched the final tv-episode of lost I felt disappointed as well, but well I guess everyone knew before that they will just not be able to resolve all the things in the series that easily and perfectly. Still it was fun to watch it.
Lost wasn't thought as mini-series, it had a budget of 12 M $ in the first season and of course they had high hopes that it hits big. It's just like in almost every tv-series: they make most parts of the story up as they go (so after other seasons are completed the new season gets written).

I think the main problem for me with tv-series is, that I get bored of the main theme of a series after two seasons. I think many people have this problem and so series have to develop over time to keep their audience. Even in comedy you cannot make the same running gags for more than 2 years and not expect them to become boring, but I guess it's easier for comedy series to stay fresh though than for "serious" series like Lost or Heroes. I myself think Lost managed it pretty well to stay fresh though (they changed the main theme from being lost on the island to being lost outside the island and then lost on the island again and managed to develop the backstories and characters of the main cast very successfully).

of course it doesn't impact my past, because NOTHING can have an impact on something that already happened

you already had the fun. the ending might make you think less of the series, or consider it worse in overall, but it has no influence on the fun you had before the ending.

You can speak just for yourself.

What he said was not an opinion, but a fact. For instance, if something sad happened in the past, but which has now a positive outcome, that won't change the fact that the sadness happened. Ex post, one might look back and say: well, it was for the best, but still, at that time, it was sad.

Disagreeing with this is like disagreeing with math. 1+1=2 (in a decimal system). Regardless whether you agree or not.

A time machine could have an impact ;)

Thats your opinion. So speak for yourself.

Your opinion does not match mine. And i am done explaining things to you for a few years, because you are not able to accept any other opinion than yours. Such people disguise me, so are you.
