Seriously, I did NOT say I know your feelings better than you do. But it is simply impossible that the end of Lost changed your feelings at the time you were watching Lost (excluding the end). The end did not exist at that time, so it cannot have changed your feelings at that time.

Of course you will look back differently now on those feelings, and those feelings will have been changed by watching the end of Lost, as you say yourself.

You must make a difference between (1) your feelings at that time and (2) your feelings right now looking back on the entire series of Lost.

Seeing 20+ new posts in a formerly averagely visited topic. First thought: Levi appeared in it.

Aaaaaand... it's true :p

May i say LOL ?

If he did not see the end, his feelings were what they were just before seeing it... He did not change a future view because his time took place as soon as end was seen... Thus end of the serie became also the past as all the past serie before the ending.
He never said he hated Lost before the end... He just enjoyed it. And after having seen the end, it ruined all his past good feelings.

And you gave yourself a bullet in your feet by saying : Of course you will look back differently now on those feelings, and those feelings will have been changed by watching the end of Lost, as you say yourself.
All those answers to agree with Blue !! :-D

You and borkos took the end as a future whereas Blue took it clearly as a past as it must be seen.
May i say LOL ?

Be my guest. Just like you're allowed to deny the existence of gravity.

Look, as long as you seem to be unable to understand what I underlined ("at that time"), I'm not going to react. Because you're suggesting things I did not say. Come back when you want to discuss in a proper manner.

I recently started watching House of Cards with Kevin Spacey, and I really recommend you guys watching it. Plus it has a 9.0 rating on IMDB.

I actually did not like first series, although Kevin Spacey is one of my favourites.
But lets see the second series. The i will decide if it will be the last for me ;-).

Can you explain something to me ? You had fun watching Lost in the past.

Did you travel back in time and change your feelings about it ? If not you still had the fun when watching the most part of Lost.

Edit : Like I had for instance with The Sopranos. I hated the ending but while watching it was really fun. You can't change that lol

My advice:
1. Read what you just wrote. Try to remember all or write it down on the paper.
2. Now read all the messages what were written recently on this topic.
3. Compare it with what you wrote.
4. Think about what was written.
5. Make your OWN conclusion.
6. No matter what the conclusion was: Let it be.

Thank you

He is writing the same thing as Levitate and me. And you still don't understand.

the ending will change his opinion about the whole series - yes.

but will it have ANY impact on the fun he ALREADY had during watching it before the ending? - no.

True, and might I add, that's usually the point of a tv-series. The point is, having fun while watching it. And it isn't the goal of a tv-series to make you have fun sometime in the future after watching it... at least in my opinion :D

I am still behind on game of thrones, because I decided to read the books first. I am not sure if I am able to keep up that decision though...

I really like House of Cards, even if there are a lot to keep track on (Spacey talking to the camera really helps). I'm a few episodes into the 2nd season.
I thought about watching all episodes immediately, but I think it's nicer to spread them out. Make it last a bit longer :)

Please do exactly the same as Gohf.

Thank you

Please try thinking instead of giving advice.

Amen

I am sure this is what BlueZero had in mind from the beginning, it is just his lack of explaining it better that caused all the confusion. Even though he enjoyed the series, the ending was so bad that it changed his overall outlook of the series from good to bad. I guess it's like watching a great soccer game where your team is playing great and you think to yourself...wow this is the best game ever, but then, in the last minute your team loses, you are going to look back at the game with a disappointment. So even though it was a great game, the bad ending outweighs the fun you had watching it and you will actually be looking back at the game as a bad game.....
