the ending will change his opinion about the whole series - yes.

but will it have ANY impact on the fun he ALREADY had during watching it before the ending? - no.

Amen

I am sure this is what BlueZero had in mind from the beginning, it is just his lack of explaining it better that caused all the confusion. Even though he enjoyed the series, the ending was so bad that it changed his overall outlook of the series from good to bad. I guess it's like watching a great soccer game where your team is playing great and you think to yourself...wow this is the best game ever, but then, in the last minute your team loses, you are going to look back at the game with a disappointment. So even though it was a great game, the bad ending outweighs the fun you had watching it and you will actually be looking back at the game as a bad game.....

You can't compare it to 1 game imo. Compare it to a whole season. The fun games that your team won didnt just disapeared becasue of missing out on promotion ;)

The ending for Lost was still better than the ending for Dexter.

Best ending to a TV series goes to Six Feet Under. Not seen anything close to the quality of the ending for that.

The last ending [sounds funny but there were many:P] of Futurama was quite great as well:).

Can't wait to see How I met your mother ending. Well, the last episode won't be great, but the quality has already gone up a lot during last season [the beginning was boring as hell].

I'm usually not very emotional while watching movies or tv series, but this part got to me a bit :p

True, the ending of six feet under will only be great if you really watched all 5 seasons before and really cared for the characters though. It is still my favorite TV-series and I also never found any ending of a series that really could compare to it. Now I want to watch it all over again, damn you!

I think "the big C" was the only series where I thought at times that it could reach the emotional level of six feet under, it didn't though. Still worth a look.

just make time, I watch 3+ hours a day of series if I'm really focussed on a series.
I'm all caught up on the series so besides the daily airings I'll now start with homeland :)

I would like to see you watch for 3+ hours with a 3 year old kid climbing all over you and crying how he doesn't want to watch this but wants cartoons
