Congratulations on an Unearthly junior player! I would start with speed training, and then we'll see how things develop.

Remember to give him 25 min league too, otherwise its a waste of true class talent

All players need pace, start with that and go from there.
He could play anywhere but because of his age I'd probably say he's a defender. That passing and playmaking would be wasted on a striker.
Piotr, what do you think of him as a mid? That playmaking would need sorting on top of pace.

He could be anything other than a keeper tbh.......pace is the most important thing to train on him for a while.

Lovely pull, can't go wrong with that amount of skill points. The age is key, he can be anything as wdp says. Enjoy training him!

Even the stamina fairy was kind there!

He is way too good to become a def ..

Wing, striker or central mid

And how is passing/pm wasted on striker?

Why My Góral then has 100 Assists on 275 appearences with 13-12 pass-pm playing as central striker

* Sigh *
Strikers are the easiest outfield players to train to a high level. Then defenders. Then mids.

If a player is capable of reaching a high level in Defence or Midfield, that's where they should play because those players are the rarest.

I say defence for 2 reasons. Firstly, his PM isn't spectacular and training it up would take training away from other areas that would make him elite. That passing and PM is great for a defender, less so for a mid. That doesn't mean he can't be a midfielder (and a very good one) but as a defender he's elite level.
The 2nd reason is obvious, he's come late in the season and is essentially 19. If he'd come early then he's absolutely a mid, but because of that pace and his age, the path of least resistance is in defence.

As for being a winger, that's a ridiculous waste of skills.

I have already discussed Boots Trippier with Truffs. Initially, we all agree that focusing on pace training is essential. After some time, we can reassess and determine the next steps. Personally, I would focus on three key skills for a forward. With these additional abilities, he could be positioned slightly lower, between the forwards and the midfield.

He is worth much more as a midfielder than striker. As a defender he would've been a wasted potential, especially for a smaller country like England.

Judging by sumskill, there were over 30 better ATTs on TL this season in his age group, while there were only 2 better midfielders on TL in his age group.

One went for 16.5m euro, the other one is just being sold for over 18m euro.

Strikers need to be 3x divine+, preferably at least 2x superdivine 1x divine for the highest level. His ATT sumskill is not impressive for his age, it will take him a lot of time to get to top level as striker and with current shorter season it's rather impossible to make a top off mid/att hybrid out of him.

I'd definitely go for a midfielder training (long-term, starting with only pace to brilliant).

As for central midfielder / winger - that's just a personal choice, both will be equally as good and needed. Top wingers need 2x superdivine pace & tech and they also need decent defender [12+]. The striker skill will grow itself to incredible [13] at least, possibly brilliant [14] and that would be very useful as well [he could be a reserve striker option, he can move in match tactics between wing and side striker role etc.].

A bit more about potential ATT training.

I bought my Edvar Ruivo as a 18yo in week 9 [we are in week 12], he was 10 pace, 9 tech, 9 striker = sumskill 28.
3 weeks earlier, 2 more skills, +3 in pace which makes difference.

He never missed trainings due to injuries [literally 0 injuries], always got 96-100% training, very nice talent.

At age of almost 26, he is superdivine [18] pace, unearthly [16] tech, unearthly [16] striker.
Tech +4, striker +6, so soon he will be superdivine-divine-divine.

Still, he will need another ~16 trainings (or more) to get to 3x superdivine. So he will get to 3x superdivine at the age of 27 and that's roughly when Trippier could start getting training of passing/playmaker - while playing as MID. Not ideal.

As for "general training improvement" Ruivo was: good [7] defender, poor [3] passing, poor [3] playmaker. After 94 trainings he improved +3 in defender [should get another pop any moment now], +5 in playmaker, +5 in passing [both started at lower level & popped very early, after first 5 and 6 trainings].

In other words, at age 27+ Trippier [without any injuries, without losing training and with 96-100% training each week] will probably look like this if trained as ATT:

Boots Trippier, age: 27
club: Padstow Rovers, country: England

formidable [11] stamina poor [3] keeper
superdivine [18] pace incredible [13] defender
superdivine [18] technique formidable [11] playmaker
outstanding [12] passing superdivine [18] striker

Great player? Surely yes. A material for further playmaker&passing training (at 28-29) and a high level off-mid/striker? Not really.
And you can make a 3x superdivine / 2x superdivine 1x divine ATT out of a less "rare" material.
