A bit more about potential ATT training.

I bought my Edvar Ruivo as a 18yo in week 9 [we are in week 12], he was 10 pace, 9 tech, 9 striker = sumskill 28.
3 weeks earlier, 2 more skills, +3 in pace which makes difference.

He never missed trainings due to injuries [literally 0 injuries], always got 96-100% training, very nice talent.

At age of almost 26, he is superdivine [18] pace, unearthly [16] tech, unearthly [16] striker.
Tech +4, striker +6, so soon he will be superdivine-divine-divine.

Still, he will need another ~16 trainings (or more) to get to 3x superdivine. So he will get to 3x superdivine at the age of 27 and that's roughly when Trippier could start getting training of passing/playmaker - while playing as MID. Not ideal.

As for "general training improvement" Ruivo was: good [7] defender, poor [3] passing, poor [3] playmaker. After 94 trainings he improved +3 in defender [should get another pop any moment now], +5 in playmaker, +5 in passing [both started at lower level & popped very early, after first 5 and 6 trainings].

In other words, at age 27+ Trippier [without any injuries, without losing training and with 96-100% training each week] will probably look like this if trained as ATT:

Boots Trippier, age: 27
club: Padstow Rovers, country: England

formidable [11] stamina poor [3] keeper
superdivine [18] pace incredible [13] defender
superdivine [18] technique formidable [11] playmaker
outstanding [12] passing superdivine [18] striker

Great player? Surely yes. A material for further playmaker&passing training (at 28-29) and a high level off-mid/striker? Not really.
And you can make a 3x superdivine / 2x superdivine 1x divine ATT out of a less "rare" material.

Why My Góral then has 100 Assists on 275 appearences with 13-12 pass-pm playing as central striker

Because you play in a league where you sometimes score 7-11 goals in a game and he gets many "second shot-assists"

Out of his last 5 assists he got 4 after he made a shot, the shot was saved and then the other striker finished.

Thanks for everyone’s comments.

We are going for pace and that puts him in a defender type position for a few weeks as the striker slots are training something else. He will then move to a striker slot as they will then train pace.

Totally wrong.... a elite def, Even world Class secondaries is worth half of a mid or att on tl.
Also i been nt coach over 25 seasons, att you have at disposition Are far less then defs, so defs Are not more rare... and defs get gt on 4 other skills while strikers on 2, 3 of those skills for def dont need to go all the way to top only def and pace do, so atts Are harder to train then defs

And how Come Are his skills wasted as wing? Id like your explanation on that lol

You watched my matches to make that comment?

Instead of trolling my friend then watch championship match this wednesday vs my top rival and say Góral didnt link up perfect in passing to both my wing and other striker

You watched my matches to make that comment?

I didn't need to, I read the match report, 4 out of 5 assists came from rebound shots...

I had ATTs with magical pm/passing, I used many with with pm

for me 12 pm is useful [as any skills is] but doesn't change much, the minimum is 14 with also high passing

Compared to 6-8 it means a lot.... I commented on a comment that said pm + pass was wasted if striker... you remember what you Are debatting against this time?

I'd train lots of pace whilst young and some pm, make him a proper box to box CM

Leroy Barton, age: 18

club: Rock Bottom, country: England
value : 57 150 £
wage: 780 £
very good [9] form
tragic [0] tactical discipline
height: 177 cm, weight: 71.5 kg, BMI: 22.82

unsatisfactory [2] stamina tragic [0] keeper
good [7] pace poor [3] defender
very good [9] technique good [7] playmaker
unsatisfactory [2] passing solid [8] striker

Came out as formidable. Will be a striker trainee, move out one of the others I have in that slot which haven't been mega talented.

Leroy Barton looks really good, congratulations. I would start training with pace.
2024-06-06 07:55:24
Already set, so no worries there.
2024-06-06 08:18:52
Thats a really nice pull, congratulations .....the only thing that would have improved him was the PM being on pace.

The next 5 juniors I have are all currently on formidable. 2 will be early season 18yos so hoping for at least 1 or 2 to be decent.

I am seriously jealous, I have a high of very good only and he has 17 weeks left. I am having awful luck lately :(
2024-06-06 08:35:39
Up until recently mine had been the same. My last truly decent junior is now 22, so might all of a sudden be a glut of them incoming!

I hope so for both of us, could do with some good trainees to help the NT again. I now have as good a coaching setup as I am happy to pay for. I refuse to get unearthly assistants. lol
