Yeah, but only really the 2nd pop and onwards. Unless the first pop takes about 8 weeks then you know he's lacking in talent.

Here's my amazing selection:

Josh Redmond adequate 12 reject
Ray Dallas solid 13 reject
Conrad Coates weak 29 reject
just thought of something.

you know how youths are created in the academy with an age, do you think this hidden age effects their popping speed (so its not just talent and coach skill that effects the speed)?
I havent thought of that but I believe thats the case. Interessting thou :-)

I doin't think the age of a youth affects his popping speed. Some of my guys have been around for 32 weeks, and I have seen no slowing down of their popping.

Maybe they do, but if so, it's only slight.
2005-05-20 15:13:40
How old are they when they pop?
2005-05-20 15:46:32
That guy I just pulled was 20, and I'd had him a long time.
2005-05-20 18:57:13
yeah, but remember, the way the youths age has recently changed.

it used to be they didn't have an age allocated until they graduated, but as people just waited till the start of a new season to promote them, they changed the proccess.

Now the youths start out with an age and get older while still in the academy...

yeah, but remember, the way the youths age has recently changed.

Yeah, I know. I thought it was earlier than it was...it happened in early march, so I suppose I haven't seen any age increases in my youths yet, have I?

Billy Blayney unsatisfactory 20
Bradley Smedley weak 8

Only 2 for me today. Think I'll keep the unsatisfactory guy for a while and see what happens.

Max Ward good 34
Conrad Vassell weak 15

Binned the rest - got a load of guys in my youth squad now that have been stuck on 'good' for weeks showing no inclination of ever improving!
