me too - I think my youth coach isn't good enough
2005-05-21 20:15:06
Mine is solid - I had a formidable before and they popped a bit quicker.
2005-05-21 20:19:02
The wages are a bit extreme for coaches so I think I'll have to sack my stamina and pace coach and get a better junior coach
2005-05-21 20:25:46
Yeah, I'm thinking of changing mine too, but am a bit strapped for cash and finding a decent coach can end up costing loads!
2005-05-21 20:30:46
I have sacked all my coaches bar my main one - training playmaking and have hired a very good junior coach - should see some improvements

Might save some money over the next few weeks though I spent 9k in wages sacking everyone

why get rid of all your good juniors?surely you could promote them and make a packet?

these 3 in particular

Richard Devlin formidable 4 reject
Matthew Malhan outstanding 5 reject
Adrain MacTause excellent 8 reject
2005-05-22 13:28:47
Ah....I'm not getting rid of them.

That was a cut and paste and I was too lazy to delete the "reject" bit which is a link to reject them on the juniors page.
2005-05-25 00:22:46
Well I wouldn't have a bloody clue lol.
My juniors:
Martyn Watt poor 11 reject
Royston Bothan average 19 reject
Andrew Bainton weak 21 reject
Sam Keir adequate 22 reject
do I keep any?
2005-05-25 01:39:47
Reject the poor, keep the others - see if the weak pops on Thursday, otherwise perhaps reject him too.
2005-05-25 09:50:06
I'd keep the weak, too, just to ascertain his talent (if any). There's potentially 6 pops there if he's mega talented and pops next week. That's excellent by the time he comes out if I've worked it out right (and I'm not confident I have).

Cheers for the help guys

as a conclusion from those YP's your junior as to be very good to be any good.
2005-05-26 09:39:14
The two solids are 17, so I should get a few quid for them. I pay about 18k in youth places a week, and 7k in youth coach wages, so if they sell for 25k, then I'm happy.
2005-05-26 09:59:28
I presume you will be training Hollands?
2005-05-26 12:40:53
Not sure yet.

I'm training stamina for the foreseeable future, anyway, so I don't need to rush the decision.
