3 guys this week. Two of which are very very talented.......... Am very very excited!
2005-06-02 14:56:53
Damn damn damn damn damn.

the two guys who have unbelievable talent have no skill in what I train and (bloody typically) the less talented guy is by far the best suited to me..

Very good+6 (But 7-8 weeks to pop)

Adrain Marlet, age: 17
value: 31 650 £, wage: 510 £
club: Forest Reserves, country: England
very good form

hopeless stamina, tragic keeper
adequate pace, weak defender
good technique, hopeless playmaker
tragic passing, good striker

- A good striker trainee, but shame about the talent.

very good+0, but mega talented - 3-4 weeks per pop!!!

Damian May, age: 19
value: 25 200 £, wage: 450 £
club: Forest Reserves, country: England

[potential midfield trainee]

excellent+0 and also mega talented - 4 weeks to pop

Trevor Henchoz, age: 17
value: 29 850 £, wage: 495 £
club: Forest Reserves, country: England
very good form

unsatisfactory stamina, hopeless keeper
good pace, adequate defender

[great midfield or defender trainee]

Will you be listing the defender?

If so I'm interested as always :).
2005-06-02 17:18:15
I'll have a crack at training Henchoz....got the secondaries I'm after
2005-06-02 17:19:30
I'll use my more powerful resources to outbid you. Only I'm allowed to train Eng defenders after all :).
2005-06-02 17:20:46
I'm unsure about the defender - am tempted to partly train him myself. (he would get striker, technqiue training).

I know really I should sell him, it's just that I really could do with some English trainees..and he's very talented.

Will have a think...
2005-06-02 17:21:21
Sell him, you know you want to (to me of course).
2005-06-02 17:26:03
Oooh I'm excited. I've got a guy who took 5 weeks to pop to Solid and today popped to Very Good after another 6. Still got another 11 weeks in my youth squad too, so will be a high Excellent.

Hoping he'll be a bit of a legend.

My super youths are 12 and 17 weeks away :(. I've only had one super youth so far.

I wonder if it is any coincidence that nearly all of my youths so far have been def trainees.
2005-06-02 17:31:42
what is your youth coach defending skill, or is it random ?
2005-06-02 17:33:17
I've been alternating between two coaches, as currently I'm doing 1 week of defending, followed by 1 week of a secondary (currently pace):

Lionel Bloxham, age: 58,
wage: 5 025 £
club: Mcoi, country: England
very good coach

Training effectiveness:
solid of stamina, adequate of keeper
unearthly of pace, poor of defender
excellent of technique, solid of playmaker
solid of passing, formidable of striker

and

Clayton Lennon, age: 45,
wage: 4 920 £
club: Mcoi, country: England
good coach

Training effectiveness:
formidable of stamina, hopeless of keeper
unsatisfactory of pace, unearthly of defender
average of technique, excellent of playmaker
formidable of passing, unsatisfactory of striker
2005-06-02 17:36:04
hmm...ok thank you :) so it isn't so random afterall
2005-06-02 17:42:47
Wait!

I am a striker trainee and nearly all of my youths have also been defender trainees.....

In 8 months, I've only actually pulled 1 player with better than adequate striker - and that was this week...
