Where did I say that it doesn't work? And what system are you talking about and what's wrong with it?

For me the system as a whole is a big problem because training is more profitable than winning, so it would be best to either make the profitability closer (imo impossible to do because of repercussions) OR to make training NOT influence playing for results, so make users achieve 97-100% training without using players in league games. That way you could both play for results and train. Not perfect, has some flaws, but better than what we have today.

b. No other ideas put to you will work either.

If something isn't better and creates further problems then what's the point of doing that?

c. What is it, then? Have you got a solution?

Limiting the pace of re-sell for profit transfers that they introduced is a step in right direction. I would make long-term training more profitable.

30% tax for selling 5 weeks after buying is ok, then 20% after 7 weeks, 15% after 10.
I'd possibly make it harder at start with 50% after 5 weeks, then 25% after 8 and 15% after a season [14 weeks]. It's better than nothing though.

Oh, I forgot you're the guy the states the obvious but claims to have invented the wheel. Not that the wheel would've been invented if you were around back then, you'd have found something against it.

I will have to agree with you, otherwise you will disect every sentence and have something to say against.

They have to be hidden, otherwise everyone would wait for last second to make a "current bid+1" bid and get the player, it would be terrible

There is no "last second". As I said, the seller chooses when the bidding ends.

Yes, I was responding to this idea as if it was added to current system, I later read about the „choose when to sell” part.

This way it could work and it would be interesting, but I’m not sure they would want such a big change.

It would also be helpful to make suspicious transfers - I put a player worth 5m for sell, my friend bids 100k, I agree to sell the player. Then he trains the player for me, makes him worth 10m, agrees to sell the player back to me for 100k. I doubled my money doing nothing thanks to the help of my friend. Fair? Not really.

It could also be detrimental to new or less active users who don’t know the value of players. Such person gets a 16yo worth 10m euro, doesn’t know that, receives an offer of 500k and decides to sell because that seems like a lot of money for him.

Possibly it could work as an addition to current system by enhancing the Transfer Announcement.

I put my player on transfer announcement, everyone can give me an offer by „bidding” a player. If I see an offer that is fine for me I accept the bid and then it starts the auction (for 24h). This way it would be impossible to sell vastly under the market value because even if you would agree to a very low price, the market would normalize it.

A trigger sale system would at least be an improvement on the current system. I'm getting pretty fed up of selling good players and getting absolutely nothing for them.

As for your "suspicious transfer" problem, I'm not totally convinced it's a problem. The person you sell to would be screwing themselves over, there's trust issues, we already have a report transfers button. If you want a solution though, just make it so the player can't return to the selling club, ever.

Sad that there’s not much interest in future NT prospects here, in other countries people look for and buy their best prospects to ensure they get properly trained. Probably one of the reason while the NT level in England is not particularly great for the number of users.

If he's going to one of the best clubs in Mexico we shouldn't be too unhappy with that. Frankly it's normal for the best players to leave smaller countries because we simply get outbid most of the time.

Mexico is a country almost 2 times smaller than England, barely 80 users

And if he’s playing for 1st place then he might train youngsters only in friendlies, so just 85%

Then he'd be pretty stupid to spend at least 3m on a player he won't train properly.
It's not realistic to think a group of 40-50 active players will always be able to compete in an auction against 7000 other players. There are maybe 10 clubs who could afford him here.

I sold a player for same price lately, he came back on TL after 2 months - looked identical, zero pops. Turns out his owner bought him but then didn’t have a free slot for him.

I’m sure lots of people waste players by training them only on 85%…
