Camus, we used to have a database of English players, but it required manual updating. Now, every coach of the England national team has the ability to see a player's skills, provided they have permission. There are various search engines available to find new players, but I'm not sure about their effectiveness. Personally, I browse and manually save all this information.
I'm aware of what the game provides but you still need to know where to look. I've been having a look at Gestons database and I can see how useful it is, but there are also issues.
What I'm thinking about is tracking from the juniors before they're even pulled. With only 48 top clubs, it should be relatively easy to create a list and filter out players who will never reach U-21, let alone the national team. Ideally I think we take the training of our youths in-house as much as possible and trade between ourselves where we can control and advise the training these players get. I see too many potentially good players being bought by bad trainers.

You're right, and I fully support your initiative. We could even open a closed forum where we could share information specifically about English players.
I assume the only way to open a closed forum would be to create a fake friendly league? If so, that'd obviously be a problem for people already in friendly leagues.

Another good week for me on 6 spots ive had one tragic 18 coming.
