Wow, serious talent with that pace pop

Worst week for a long time for me. 2 plops....1 proper pop, and 1 stamina worthless pop.

Hey guys, I have a question. Sorry if this is the wrong thread.

I bought a young keeper to train last season. he looked like he had great potential. he was 17 and solid in keeper. I was told he was talented, but he only popped twice in keeper last season! (and the second pop was a few weeks ago). My head coach has unearthly in keeper and my 3 assistants are all brilliant, so I don't know what's going wrong!

I noticed today that the keepers stamina is hopeless. Will that affect his training? Or maybe I've just been conned! I'm actually hoping for the latter so I haven't wasted a season and money training incorrectly!

Stamina does not affect his training.

There are a few factors, is he getting advanced training? Is he getting 100% training each week or 96% at least? Also how many weeks training did it take per pop?

I have not yet trained a keeper from low levels but I am hoping to soon.....however I would expect at low levels that keeper is quick to train.

Keeper training is fast indeed. For very talented: 2 to very good, 3 to incredible, 4 to magical, 5 to divine, 6 to superdivine - that's how one of my GKs popped.

But talent is the key thing as always... there are two options here: either Lee's player is not talented, or he was not trained in advanced training.

I bought him 2 weeks ago, popped in PM then defense, result, love the name although a lot of Liverpool about it, he's Joaquin to me ;) serious bangers though, I went for it because user said +2 pace and +1 PM extra training

Nice player. I prefer to buy at the "previous stage" though, usually right after going out from youth school. Previous owner made 5 times profit on what he paid, in 3 months of training.

i know, i think he got him cheap, i just liked the name and didn't want to blow loads on another oldie, he won't loose me money but i should have got him 3 months a go

Thanks for the response guys.

He's getting 100% and advanced training so I think its more of a case of low talent! Shame really.
