I'm still on stamina, which finally gets to some decent levels. Just one pop from general training.

7 pops.

1 stamina, 1 was a pop back. 4th consecutive week of 7 official pops though.

Stamina training?

I got zero pops this week. First time I can ever remember that happening. But right at the end of training cycle..

I know, I know... "stamina pops up just from general training". Well, it does, but it takes ages. I didn't want to wait, so there :P
I was playing about 13-14 players only because I was involved in the Cup and I thought I might as well train stamina.

Your team.....your choice

I really don't understand this anti-stamina movement. It's clearly there as an option. Players without stamina are really not at their best. Why are so many of you against training stamina? I'm doing for two weeks, I'm out of the Cup and I go back to train other skills. But almost all my players are full on stamina (for all the rest of their career). I don't have to wait and hope that general training is going to boost it for me.

I don’t see the issue in training stamina for a couple of weeks, I used to when post season came and if it helps your players then it’s worth it for just 2 weeks.

Depends on players, if you have an older first teamer that has low stamina and you don't have better players to train then yeah, why not.

In general though if you have an unearthly stamina coach, every young player will pop in stamina after 7-8 weeks (it's not a chance, it's math) so you get between ~1.5-1.8 pops in stamina every season.

So if you start training a 16yo, after 5 seasons (at age 21) he will already get +7/+8/+9 in stamina on his own. For example I started training one player when he had [2] stamina, it took him 50 weeks to get to [11] stamina. And since 11 is max and then you're not getting more, what's the point in training stamina? You can also train someone to superdivine skill at age 19, but why would anyone do that if you'll end up losing training this way? :)

It doesn't make the value of a young player higher, but you're losing training weeks on other skills that would improve the value. That's why it's completely pointless to train 16-21yo players in stamina, you're just losing training weeks and if you train good youngsters then every pop and every training is worth a lot on the market.
