I would love nothing else but to have half a dozen of my academy players in the squad (at least). But it's impossible with what they've done with the game. I have two at the moment and I have to keep them on advanced (my arse) training because they only play 11 or 12 games a seson, maybe 1 or two official games. Plus, the players coming into the academy are shite, not only the initial total skill but the overall training doesn't stick to them at all, one step forward, two steps backwards. I feel for you but I feel for myself too. I am only thinking of ways of raising funds right now because (as I warned at some point) this game is now ruled by the market.
A lot of my main players will turn 30 next season, it'll be the last dance. And then (or even at the end of this season) I will slowly but surely sink back into II. Maybe then, I will bring up some youngsters. That's if I have any of quality given.

Antos?

I am ready for training 17-18 old English players but I not have any good players for the training .

nah, nah, nah, I'm not on here to take sides. I'm all for a (football) banter, 'robbery' and all that but I'll stick to my point of view. Hence (although I comment on here) I am staying away from any NT issues (I know, once I said a few things about Damianek and his style of play but only because I noticed some tactical issues). Otherwise, lately NT became a toxic environment. And maybe that's the main issue. Last game (vs Serbia) Antos had the team and tactic spot on, only the supernormal GK saves (and that's a thread on its own about this game) changed a result that could've easily been different. BR did a great job too before. Antos though comes with something extra, pushing managers to get better trainers was smart. Whatever bickering goes on... not interested.
I'd say just one thing (although it doesn't mean it's necessarilly good for the NT): the Premier is now on 60+ marks, the second divisions are on 53+, at least one of the 3rd division is on 35+. Things are getting better. A push for more users, active users and the 3rd div could reach 40+. Better trainers could do make this happen. And then, as a result, really good English players will pop out from all this too. The NT's need projects, tactics to suit the players and that's the only way to get better. Both of you should think this way.

That's exactly the purpose of this topic...

I hope more agree :)

Thank you for your honesty, a cool opinion on everything. But I can't agree on one thing.... English league players are not an indication of NT/U21 level. That's where all the players play, let's give the nothis team as an example - 5 England players aged 42,34,19, 41 and 22. None of them will be of any use to NT/U21.

Therefore, it would be interesting to see how many of these English players in the U21s are actually coached by English users :-)
That's why I suggested at the beginning that I would like to advertise as many players as possible on the Polish forum(there are most of them) but how will there be people willing to do so here.... then I don't see anything wrong with changing this idea.

As for the match against Serbia, in my opinion we were very unlucky.... a lot of unused situations :(

If we are suppose to build something bigger we should stop looking at our own club .I myself sold my own to show that I care
2023-01-02 22:19:22
I agree 100%, this is the only way to make the team even better. Even getting 5-10 people like this together would make a breakthrough in England :)

I disagree......

No posting on Poland without showing UK managers first..
We have more than capable managers here and people who should keep and train.

You have started a change.... we need to go up a notch

Can we get an idea of who is interested in training? What plans/ideas you have and who needs to sell players to build....

I have not read all of the above as I’m still unwell and have been busy.

I would 100% not be happy for players to be advertised in Poland first.

I would 100% be happy to train English players and have done so before but can’t find decent ones, my previous best Miller I sold to Nothis so he could get the best training as under the old system I couldn’t.

I then bought him back and am training him myself now.

We can improve things but it has to be done in a co-ordinated effort and where everyone has the same goals and gets along. In the past I have had my own issues with a previous u21 manager because he treated his own players differently to others….but I refuse to go into that again.

Nothis is a great manager and trainer, we have a lot of great trainers here with good coaches. The issues are that with the new school now the chances are that people will keep their best youth players (which of course they have a right to)…..this does however make it even harder now to get the best youths trained by the clubs with the best coaches.

I would happily make slots available…….and I have money to spend.

Miller has a very cool story and hopefully his form will rise soon and he will be able to show what he can do.
As for training... in my opinion it doesn't matter who trains an English player, the important thing is that they do it well. Specially for you I have checked the current U21 players and which countries coach them the most... U21 England(37 players):
22 - England
5 - Poland
2 - België
1 - Slovenija
1 - România
1 - Ireland
1 - Österreich
1 - Deutschland
1 - Italia
1 - Uruguay

An impressive result, almost the same as with the junior schools. Bravo England for such statistics!
Since there are already some of us interested, why don't we put together a list of users who can train what?
I have 7 players from England(4 DEFS, 1 GK, 1 ATT and 1 MID)
So it's a perfect 10 I can take under training one more MID and DEF.

1. Antoś (1DEF, 1MID)
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

I have none currently but would happily make 5-7 spaces in my 10. Iam hoping some of these juniors coming through will be trainable.

5-7 places? that's a big spread and your league performance would probably be reduced by that.... i am of the opinion that if you want to train more players you have to dedicate yourself to it and not look at the results.
If you want to take 1-3 players to train, you can continue to perform well in the league and train at the same time.
