5-7 places? that's a big spread and your league performance would probably be reduced by that.... i am of the opinion that if you want to train more players you have to dedicate yourself to it and not look at the results.
If you want to take 1-3 players to train, you can continue to perform well in the league and train at the same time.

Keeping players to train in the advance tab(10 players) and giving them only 90 minutes each week from a friendly match will give us 85% training effectiveness.
In my opinion, this is far too little and I would prefer such a player to train at a club where he has the opportunity to do so. At my place they get 100% every week, currently it looks like they play two official games + the whole team has the 3rd game off.

I would happily take 3 to 4.....maybe more but that's unlikely as they won't become available. In the past I was happy to train over performance...I still maintained a decent prep finish.

I am not fussed by position because of the new system.

Interesting thread; l have a junior school, it doesn’t produce much in terms of international quality players. I would love to have better quality young players to train but l end up having to buy players in who will make it because the quality of my own junior school is not as good as it needs to be, and then there’s the form issue. So many of the kids l bring through lose form permanently and lose their valu as an asset in the process.
I would love to train young players up to u21 international standard but it is easier said than done. 2347 (Shakespeare) hasn’t got a junior school any more but she has training slots if we need them for anyone. I am training six England players aged 21 or under. 2 or 3 at best may be useful but l need Premiership quality somehow.

Once we get to the top divisions juniors training becomes almost impossible indeed, the pressure is to stay up. You build your first 11, back up players to match the first 11 and maybe a few young players to become the next generation. There's little room for risks and little time for training raw players (a few friendlies a season especially if you have a good cup run). Which is (by extension and as an externality) good for the lower divisions teams a positive, they can afford to do all the above. Hence, I enjoy the push for better coaches in lower divisions and I think they should be the ones being talked to and encouraged to become more active on this forum and within the game in general. They are the real hope for U21 especially and consequently for the senior NT. But not to sell (to Poland or anywhere else) straight away (that plan might work for the top divisions). In the long run they will benefit from selling too but mostly they will improve their teams and therefore their results and ranking.

All, i'm literally here to train English players - preferably my own - and try and pull that superstar from my own school. I don't care about matches and tactics, and can train whatever.

I do actually need a bit of help with the advanced training to be honest, not sure i'm maximising training, but this is my coach;

Tim Savage, age: 48
wage: 19 695 £
club: Armitage Shanks, country: England,
outstanding [12] coach

Training effectiveness as head coach:
tragic [0] of stamina hopeless [1] of keeper
unearthly [16] of pace unearthly [16] of defender
unearthly [16] of technique unearthly [16] of playmaker
unearthly [16] of passing unearthly [16] of striker

I have £2m in the bank which is mostly to be used as a buffer to pay for the coaches i can't afford, being in div.III

was about to say would be nice to hear from coaches from III but then jimmy replied.

Your post makes really good reading and sense mate, i just need to work out some ideas ;)

Nice head coach, considering wage ;) I had (still have) a buffer in II and now the Prem ;)

What would help you with the Advanced training? I know you have played this for a long time so may just some figures you are looking for?

I am happy to train my own players but there are not enough of them and I could do with 3 more english players but I do play to win as need the fans and the money to pay for the coaches.

I think we are all in the same boat mate ;)

i currently have spaces for 26 Juniors in my school, do you think having 32-40 might help?

Looks like 30 is the max...... how many does everyone else have?

For your school you should allocate a set number of places some of which may be occupied by your juniors and some may be vacant to allow new juniors to come to the school. Every place generates some expenses in a weekly basis (see chapter 18). The maximum number of places that could be allocated is 30. Every week new players may join the school, provided there are some vacant places. The number of new players joining the school in a week is between 0 to a maximum of 6. If the free places are not enough to allocate the applicants, some of them will be turned down, but you will never know who was rejected…They could have been a useless youth or a potential star for your team.

i'm game :)

Can we produce more? i think we can..................... :P

is it possible to produce more? Have a better Junior coach but also have the best coaches for our 1st team that we can afford?

we can't do this if we go bust..... im over -£200k a week and i don't get wdps crowds , i wished i did :P
There are a lot of things to look at and there are a lot of changes happening in Sokker..... i think personally we were all stuck in a rut and the new changes are looking horrendous....
A lot we should keep and a lot we need to adapt to.... its about being the best..... always has been ;)
I hate to see people hating this game........... we need to make it the best we can..... get involved...... get stuck in ...... if you have a thought then share it :P

You changed the capacity of the junior school to 30 places.

do you think having 32-40 might help?

Did you really not know that 30 was the max before today?

I think we need to send you on a training course. First not knowing about coach levels, and now not knowing about youth spaces!
