No, he didn't have a stronger group.

England was playing for 78-80 then, Serbia playing for 78-79 and 3rd team Israel was playing for 74.

Now England is playing for 76-78, Hellas is playing for 80-82 and 3rd team USA is playing for 75-77.

In other words England got weaker, has roughly same rating as 3rd team (much better than 3rd team that time) and Hellas is much stronger than Serbia then and England/USA now.

What is more I see that Shiqpera from 4th plays for 76-78 as well, so is +/- at England's level.

That's a terrible group in which even 2nd place might be too hard to reach, English users should hope that the groups get re-drawn and there will be only 6-team groups.

So I have a question (that I'll be posting in the other thread).

It seems like the major problem we have with the national team right now is the defence. If we don't have the players for that position, how do you plan to manage this?

Current England has a poorly selected squad and can play at a level of 79-80. The current formation and choices of players in several positions are incorrect. England is not a weak team.
Some players need to be recalled to the team because they are better.
As for the USA, they have actually made great progress.

I agree with borkos, I don't think I had a more difficult group either. Here it will be really hard to advance.... but remember that you can do it from second place :-)

We only have to set up our defense differently, I would have to verify their skills with those who were not called, but they were better when I left.

Dude, you're criticizing my season, but you are the guy who missed World Cup for 3 (!!!) times, including last season. You're not in a very high position to do this, so please don't do it.
IMHO, I can't understand why users are voting for you, except those new teams..
My main goal was to experiment tactics, but England has a poor defence.

If you consider I'm using players wrong, give me an example. And an example of a good player that is not in the squad.
