Excuse me, I am being arrogant in the extreme. Don't ruin my flow, please.

I am harsh on Twods. I admire him, really. Just like me, he hasn't got unlimited funds and he had to train players from scratch to create his squad.
In the same time, I got bored of playing this game. The time in the Prem was good while it lasted. Division 2 game me a new challenge, changing the squad and starting something new. But I was hoping for more, not a season when everyone just accepts I'm 'too good for this league' and I should leave them alone. On the contrary.
I am looking at the teams that will potentially go up this season. It's literally Burnley, Luton and Sheffield United. Division 2 has to offer more. And if it needs me rattling other users, so be it. I will keep doing it.
Just for the record, the Prem is at 62 average rating (and without Timisoara it would be even higher). Best Division 2 is at 54.

Down to the last game and ( I think)

3 teams can get auto promotion
3 teams can get playoff
3 teams get the wooden spoon and come 3rd (which will be forest resurrected..)
6 teams could end up in relegation playoffs
4 teams could get auto relegated of which 2 confirmed
9 of 12 teams don’t know their position vis a vis relegation or promotion with 1 game to go

Madness. It’s been a mad season. I’ve won at least 1 game I didn’t deserve to and had awful luck with red cards early in games causing losses I shouldn’t have had.

I really thought Timisoara would be a threat when they promoted.

They have some properly decent players and invested huge amounts of money on trainees, yet despite this barely made an impact even last season with full strength side.

Well I was kind of Twods for a very longtime and everyso often I won div 2 and went up and got blasted and then went back down again. Now I have a more Jensen Ella veiwpoint. I think every manager tries their best and both Twods and Jensen have equally valid play styles based on their lives situation.

In my situation, In the end I got sick of it being the equivalent of Burnley or sheffield and with this new training regime which suits my life style better I am determined to up my game. Still not doing great but better. Points wise I am creeping up but its not an easy thing to do, I am chasing the big three but the gap is huge and I am learning tactics better as some clubs beat me on tactics rather than have better players.

It's the first season you've not been relegated or faced a playoff in the prem?

In the book of most people, that's progress. Although if you follow JE logic you should give up, relegate to II and then throw games not to promote. WDP hasn't won the prem every season he has played, a long way from it. BR has never won the prem either.

It sounds to me that you are enjoying playing and taking part which is all that matters...
I wasn't enjoying the past few seasons so have sold up and I'm enjoying training and producing players again ;)

Good luck

Thats the highlite of the final round...the battle for third...

Yes i cannot remember a year in the prem without a play off!

Well logic is hard round here ....but I get what he is saying about everyone needing to improve and him being down in two and being the club to beat. Don`t approve of throwing games mind you and urinating on newbies bonfires but the clubs in two do need to see where a relegated club is at and what they need to do to be better than that. I get that and that is why I posted.

I threw a game 2 seasons ago to prove a point against a side with no players and can see why and how it would have agitated some...
This season I pressed self destruct with my team after week 11 to make it fair with all and now have a playoff to look forward too ;)

I think you have to find the positives depending on where you are. I went up to 1 way before I was ready and got murdered, but financially it was a massive help. Dropping down to 2 has allowed me to use my trainees in league games without any consequence.

If I beat Legia again this season, I get back to the 3rd place perch which I've been off for a few seasons.

My advice is to enjoy the game, not at all to give and relegate. I really enjoyed to fight for my place in the Prem for a while and I'm sure Truffs finds it satisfying too this season. But after a while I realised I am stagnating and there was no room for anymore improvement. I was just floating and losing my enthusiasm. Nevertheless, a few arguments on here entertained me for a few weeks (with someone I am not going to name on here because he is like a genie in a bottle, he pops up soon as you say his name) but the game itself was boring. That's why I decided to kinda challenge myself and try to rebuild my squad, build a new daring tactic and all that. And I really enjoyed the last couple of seasons, especially on Thursday mornings. And I want to have a bit more of this. Financially I am at my best since I started, the squad seems to be talented, the tactic is working well. I am hoping that one day I will be in a priviledged position when I will say 'right, let's go and fight the giants' aka build a strong squad that could challenge for that 3rd place in the Prem. Until then, I'm enjoying being arrogant to the extreme in Division 2.
