Onderwerp: $200m in transfers

2009-05-20 12:28:07
Typo - I meant unearthly tech with incredible pace by the end of the season.
2009-05-20 21:49:36
5 seasons? your team better be like that by then
2009-05-28 18:03:17
To make it official.

Statistics:
Transfers income: 208 509 479 $ average 1 042 548 $ (200 of sales)
Transfers expenses: 176 161 019 $ average 1 874 054 $ (94 of purchases)

Additionally, I've got a bid on a midfielder at $5m, and have listed a defender that should get me around $6m or so. Kreevald is going in a week or two, for $11m or so, and I'm buying an $8m defender.

My totals by 6/15 should be:

Income - $224m
Expenses - $190m
2009-05-28 18:07:08
how much do you have in the bank?
2009-05-28 18:58:15
Finance - Nanook of the North
Account balance: 8 439 716 $

After Kreevald's sale, I'll be sitting with about $12m and nothing to do with it. And I pull a brilliant 3.5 or so YS next week AND a 3.0 VG next week. If either are trainable, I'll have to dump a trainee or two. Should get me to about $15m in the bank.

so whered the other 24M go?
2009-05-28 20:45:03
You could do something to your rinky-dink stadium. :)

I'd think you'd be selling out a 30K seater every week.
2009-05-28 20:48:47
i dont sell out my 36k some times and ive got the most supporters in the us =( stupid fans

buying players is a much more fun/good investment if you do it right is what ive always thought
2009-05-28 20:52:07
Interesting. I agree buying players is more fun, but if he's got money with nothing else to buy...mess with the stadium.
2009-05-28 20:53:34
nothing else to buy is impossible until you own the polish NT =D

Fromo - Coaches and players salaries. I work at a loss every week.
Burton - I don't believe in stadiums. I'd rather take the cost of the improvement in the stadium and buy trainees. Besides, I'm going to be stockpiling the money until the time I'm ready to try to get back to the ML.

Mine:

Transfers income: 60 850 303 $ average 364 373 $ (167 of sales)
Transfers expenses: 53 008 205 $ average 569 981 $ (93 of purchases)
profit/loss: 7 842 098 $ average -205 607 $
2009-06-09 18:44:12
Update:

Transfers income: 214 111 479 $ average 1 059 958 $ (202 of sales)
Transfers expenses: 184 161 019 $ average 1 938 537 $ (95 of purchases)

I have a bid in on a player for $5m, and expect to sell between 1-3 mids this week for a total sale of about $12m. I also will be selling one of my strikers for about $12m, and will be buying a replacement for about $18m.

If I had ANY kind of clue on tactics, I'd win a few games.

:)

On nowadays, there is no point spend 18mil for a striker.
2009-06-09 18:49:56
I just figured that would be the going rate for a 22/23 Y/O with unearthly striker and tech and brilliant or better pace. How much SHOULD that cost?
2009-06-09 18:56:02
probably 22m
