Onderwerp: Junior Player

Ok I am curious about the junior ratings. I was in a junior league for a while, got bored and moved on, recently re-entered. I do not have a GK on my squad, so I just put in what I would call a marginal junior (adequate/good) and he went out and got rated a 53. Now looking around, that seems to be a very high rating, especially for a guy out of position. So is this:

a. a bug?
b. a player that may have decent keeping skills?
c. a tease?

I realize it is just one game, but even if he gets a 25 next week it is still a pretty high average.

maybe his pace is just awesome :)

Well...he did stop 3 shots, so thats pretty impressive.

If a player's activity is lower than 3% he usually gets ratings ~50.That's the reason for his strange rating.

i dont think its a tease. the GK label doesnt mean much, there has been plenty of examples of pulls that didnt go with what was expected. for someone to mark 53 in the GK spot he has to have at least solid keeper

Nope - just his low activity.I can provide you with tons of such examples ;)

keep in mind you are supposed to be showing an example of a player playing KEEPER who gets over a 50 rating with, lets say, less than poor keeper skill, not an outfielder getting crazy marks from hiding in corners

It doesn't matter if the junior plays as a keeper or as an outfield player - low activity always makes their marks above 45-50.

Sounds reasonable, so we shall see.

if it doesnt matter, then you should be able to find an example as i requested out of your tons of examples =P

the keeper position is different - it frequently only gets 1-3% offense. when the keeper doesnt do ANYTHING in a game the mark drops to the 10-20 range

Just play him again next week and if his activity is high enough you'll know for sure what's going on :)

Ok well now he put up a 56. Usage was 2%, but rating was higher.
