Like what? Some more silly faces no one cares about?

Guys if bots lose automatically than new users who have like 5 or 6 bots in their groups wouldn't have too much fun, will they?

Much better. Keep the faith :)

I am pretty sure that is already the case.

I'm all for 0-5 walkovers. I can actually play my a-team in Cup matches that way. Maybe I'll win or something.

I endured my entire first season in c-league with 7 bots and this season and last season in b-league there have been 4 or 5 bots. Yes, its boring but I'd rather all of the bots were in the bottom leagues so you only have to endure 1 season of boring games.

With all this talk about bots, I thought it might be helpful to see how many bots we are actually talking about. Here is what I found broken up by Leagues. I have it broken up by individual leagues as well. This is just a summary.

ML - 3 bots out of 8 teams
A league - 3 bots out of 32 teams
B league - 48 bots out of 128 teams (38% bot ratio) - 7 out of 16 b-leagues had 4 or more bots.

I ran some numbers and here are a couple of interesting facts:

168 teams in ML through all b-leagues. Of those, 54 are bots and 114 are actual users. This means that there are currently 101 c-league team users. So out of 512 c-league teams, only 100 of those are actual users. That means, on average the most users in a single c-league is 2. Given this fact, if we demote bots in ML thru b-league to c-league via auto-losses, we would not really be burdening c-league with a higher bot ratio than it already has (how can it get worse?). The reality is that a new user is going to have to endure an entire season of games versus bots anyway. I would want to get all of those bot games out of the way in my first season and then enjoy all seasons afterwards versus actual users.

on a separate subject, i pleaded the case of reverting our C league to 32 teams like it used to be years ago, but apparently it is not possible =P

That's why I suggested them not being auto loss but instead just replaced with C league level players so that they will fall to the C league so as to not cause trouble in the higher leagues, but still provide a challenge for players in the lower leagues

Reverting the old junior school then? Give me something at least. Something enough for me to WANT to keep paying for plus.

If you saw the leaks before it got clamped down on, you'd know its going to be good.

I'm not selling up my team to become a forumite only after seeing it in staff forums :)

As for the ML bots, Bronson will demote but if Barnbot and Moobot are healthy for their q's they could both still win. I think all the teams in A looking to promote could potentially beat the bots, but it's certainly not a given. I do hope they do something about this and if it's auto-lose or nothing I'll take auto-lose.

Why can't they just generate newly joining managers for the all the bots(in B and up)?

I think most new users who start in B league demote to C league in the first season anyway.

B

Mb is the tougher of the 2 but Bb did draw with jon this week. Jon has issues at striker, in addition to non-admin issues, and other issues of a general nature, but I still expected him to win that match and he didn't.
