Thanks fla, good points, I'll address point 1 in the private forum.

On point 2, it's a fair consideration, but in 10 seasons of club play I've experienced 1 keeper injury, I don't want to limit myself to 2 subs on that slim chance.

Now whether or not I'll make 3 subs in the future will depend on the stamina of the starters mostly as I feel having a 4 or 5 stamina player playing the last 20 minutes like he's wearing cement on his feet instead of proper soccer shoes is just as dangerous as the chance of playing with 10 men.

One striker tactic is risky anyway but the winger performed very well .

Guys I just realized that all these games are on Fridays, I work for restaurants so this is a long crazy night for me and by the end I'm usually drunk or beat or as in this case a little of both.

So I'm going to wait and write a recap Saturday afternoon, and that will probably be the pattern going forward.
