Since we're a relatively small nation the only way we're ever going to punch above our weight on the international level is by organizing ourselves.

A survey of what all the people who are interested in the NT are training currently will go a long way toward pinpointing where we are weak.

I'm going to throw out what little I know off the top of my head first:

Goalkeepers

Vondocha (?)

Defenders

ivysafety
slammmy (?)

Midfielders/Wingers

mrhfan
jonandabby
Professor58

Strikers

Uriah
Burton
Krepa
Mr-Llama
jlw (?)

Please if you are training US players with an eye toward the U21 or NT let me know by posting here or by sk mail. This will help a lot when it comes to dedicated trainers deciding where to focus. I'm seriously considering switching my training for example and I would like to know where that switch would help the cause the most.

Also foreign manages are welcome to participate! Just please have more than one player, I don't want to confuse the list with guys who just happen to have a good US player and are not really actively looking to buy and train promising Americans.

For American mangers who are training for the NT, I would highly recommend joining the U21 association:

I'm definitely training mids.
2012-02-22 19:48:55
Cool, I was hoping that was the case that's one area we need help at.
2012-02-22 19:51:56
I'm currently training technique

I guess throw me under striker because I do have zollman in training
2012-02-22 19:56:22
Thanks, I'll put you there for now. If you have some training slots available you should consider picking up a couple of the top end mid or def trainees that need tech. There's been a couple on the market lately and should be more. I'll keep posting them in the association.

Whitney would be a nice pickup for example, he could definitely use some tech, not sure what the guy wants for him though. Not that that would be an issue for you.

yea price is no issue

I am training 10 players though right now so I'd have to find a way to make room for him
2012-02-22 20:09:59
ill buy up some trainees that need pace
2012-02-22 20:49:51
In about 5 weeks, I'll be switching to pace training. I'm a little limited by funds, so I could possibly look at training some 18 year olds if I can get them for a decent price.

Mids - Focused on Playmaking for the first half

nice, added you to the list.

guys there's a thread in the U21 association where we're posting the good young americans who are either on the TL or the for-sale ads, american managers feel free to apply if you haven't already.
2012-02-24 21:11:06
yeah i'm training gks... but its kinda boring haha If there is any USA player worth training for sale I'll buy him and I'll switch my training to suit the player.

nothing real exciting on the TL right now, but there's a couple decent U21s on the for-sale ads, Whitney and Coleman.

keep checking the market thread in the U21 association, we're trying to keep that up to date.
2012-03-05 22:40:38
Guys I didn't realize the U21 association was only for plus users. We're going to move the market thread and some other stuff to the USA Association so that all the trainers can be kept up to date.

USA Association

I have admin privileges for the association, it default to the NT managers I think, so if you apply and I don't accept send me a pm to remind me.

Is anybody training defense next season and looking for some quality American trainees? I have a couple of the best young Americans but they will need defense training ASAP if they're going to help the U21 program and I can't give it to them.

I plan on listing them this Friday to expire Sunday afternoon, but if an American trainer is interested let me know and we can talk about a different listing time.
2012-06-11 04:28:35
maybe... dunno if i have openings. definitely interested. training pace the rest of this season, then switching over to defender next year.

in the same mold, any striker trainers out there who are training striker this season? listing a outstanding pace/tech good striker who is 20... and wanted to get him to an american. gonna list friday...
