After 3 weeks without tasting victory, the young Americans find themselves facing their highest ranked opponents of the season.

Denmark comes in fresh off a disappointing 4th place finish in their World Cup group. However the Danes did manage a very respectable draw against 3rd ranked Romania in the final group match.

The United States will need to bring their "A" game if they plan on taking points from what should be a highly competitive match.

"They're a very good team, and they'll be hungry to get a result," said the manager, "if we don't match their intensity right from the start, we'll lose, it's that simple."

Yep, the team isn't all that bad, was just a matter of figuring out the best way to use them. Hopefully I'm past that stage.

Now we just need to go on a nice little run, we have #31 Bosnia up next and then after that is a string of 4 real tough top 30 opponents. If we bring the same sort of performance we did today we can certainly take our share of points in these fixtures and climb the rankings.
