Onderwerp: US NT road to World Cup

For our team, the qualification road to the World Cup starts in a few hours. I had some updates for the players for some of you, but far away from 35% completion. Still, I believe we can pass the first game and hope we get the rest of the updates soon.

For the first game, against Canada, we unfortunately cannot count on some starters: our GK Cody DiMaria is injured, while our main striker Mac Bogans is not fully recovered. Adding the fact that our most powerful mid Cedric Hale has a hopeless form, we will have to find other players and tactics to win the first match.

We look forward to see how the players are moving under the indications of the new coach ciomocio.

One thing I cannot understand is why Clay Riddle started on position 9. Our team was set to start with Walter Klein on that position, and Clay Riddle as a sub. Clay was supposed to go for 7 or 8 in case of an injury. Anyway, good that we pulled out the win. Now, let's see how we can pull some points from Nederland. We are the underdogs here, but we can manage something!

Probably a red card or something. It does not show up unless you click on the player (walter klein) and then they have cards for their leagues and cards for NT or something. It was a bit confusing but the same thing happened to me a couple of times. (You cannot see the cards by just browsing the NT players, you have to physically click them and go look at their main player page)

I took some time to think after I wrote that message, then look on some players who took yellow on the last NT game and indeed I saw the fact that the card for the NT appear on the NT section on their webpage. So, you are right. I did probably not look carreful on that and missed. Good that we got the win.

Next game will be THE ONE! The one we prepare carefully. Take a look on the 2 Nederland mids played last game! Huge salaries, mate! Almost like the GKs... No striker has such salary! They probably have skills of 17 -18 on all the 5 important positions! I need to figure out how we can stop them without forgetting their winger!

First, the field. I picked up Ciomocio stadium, and you probably know why (not because it is mine, but because I did not water it for days) and his condition... We will use all we can get: injuries, rough tackles with garden grass for home lawn and sand comming out from the pitch, etc...

I have seen this on real games, when the underdog teams pulled the game in its favor using bad pitch...

Unreal... With one early red card for one of their striker, they still got the win! Out of 5 total shots for both teams, 4 of them went into the net! Unfortunately, we do not have strong mids, so my only hope was to make something so he does not get often to our net! We will try our best next game! We should be proud of the game played. The ATT did not move very well in the field, but we will correct it next time!

There was more shots than 3... we missed two one on one situations ;) first goal is not a shoot in stats - i don't know why :D

I have chosen that stadium for the pitch (bad pitch) hoping your mids will not play so well. But still, 3-1 is a tough loss for the way we played! At 2-0, I took the risk and moved up (introduced the 3rd striker and pushed the lines upper), as you saw. You have immediately made 3-0.

But as a reflection of the game... You scored first quite rapidly, although you had a red card. Then, the game was equilateral with no chances for anyone. At one moment, one of your mids with huge salaries took out (nice moves) all the players in front of him, escaped and got faulted in the penalty box. Easy 2-0 for you. Time to take the risk, and you punished immediately 3-0. 3-1 in the end of the game for a more closer to reality score. Good game anyway.

Yes my goals were lucky but i played with 10 players.. with my second striker your defs won't stop almost all my 'attacks'. My players nicely stop your and you did the same. It was a little bit boring game but i think my win is deserved.

You're right that when you change tactic i scored easy goal, why? Because you gave my players much more place in the middle..

You played indeed with 3 players, and in general (most of the time), a team with just a little better statistics at the end of the game compared to the opponents (us), BUT with 1 less player, struggles to get a point (not to mention to score so much). I am talking about reality. They will not score so much as you did :). But anyway, we bot played in the middle of the field most of the time, and I do not really believe you deserved the victory (having in mind you had a red card and similar stats as ours). I also do not say we deserved the victory. No way! A tie would have been fair!

Guys, we for the friendly game against Moldova, we decided to use only U27 players. So, if you have a young promising player for such game and you have not sent the skills to me, please do it ASAP. This is a chance for them to show what they can bring in the future!

The U27 team is ready for the next game. They want to prove us they can substitute the starters anytime, but they must fight hard for this. Let us see what they can show us!

If you still have a good U27 player that you think has skills to be selected in the NT, please send them to me ASAP. I already told to our players who will start and who will sub the next game. They train hard to increase their skills! Hope the game helps them in this sense, and I also hope we will win it by several goals!
