I am new to this game,so i know my "critique" if you will is going to be taken with a grain of salt.

But anyway one thing that stands out to me about this game is that it is painfully slow, every thing else about it is really good, but playing really one league game a week is not captivating.Even though im not in the champions or national cup or even a friendly league(which doesn't mean anything anyways ) this game could do more to quicken the pace.Just an observation though :D

Feedback would be cool...

Why has no one answered this.Bad topic :P

bad topic... but even if we made comments, what would it do?

but, to answer your question, WHEN would you add another league match.
Sunday- league play
Monday- off
Tuesday- junior league matches
Wednesday- Cup/Friendly, training updates
Thursday- off
Friday- junior pull updates
Saturday- off

there is not a good place to put a second league match. so IMO one league and one friendly is fine.
spend your spare time developing tactics, scouting opponents
if you do not have Plus, you can watch NT and U21 matches to also get some tactics ideas.

there really is PLENTY for you to do.

Why are Monday,Thursday and Saturday off.

Why are those days off? WHAT would you put there. some of us like to have a few days per week without a game or event that requires our attention.

I like actualy format of sokker, bacause it is such in reality. You can train a junior team, and play on Junior League. Every week I play:
- 1 match with senior team on senior league;
- 1 match with junior team in junior league;
- 1 match with senior team on amical league.

In add on, I play 1 match with national team (this match is more important that every others).

I think that is enough for 1 week ...

I haven't posted here in a while but I'll give ya my 2 cents. As a newcomer many years ago I was in the exact same boat as you. I was used to games where I could sit there and put in more hours than everyone else every week and I could get ahead that way. I wanted to be able to just do something like play as many games as possible in a week because having to wait a whole week between league games was absolute torture, and then when you finally get to the end of the season and you're in 2nd place C league and don't get to promote, you wonder if it was even close to worth it at all.

As the years went on though, I relaxed about the game though and found that I could still dedicate tons of time to this game and be satisfied. If my team wasn't playing a match, I would be doing lots of things like creating new tactics, searching the transfer list for possible trainees, watching NT games, trying to understand the game better, browsing all the various forums, etc... I eventually was able to manage the NT and that added even more responsibility!

After those couple of years of hard work, I made it to the Major League and ended up finishing 2nd with it coming down to literally the last game in the season. Since that point I switched up my training and spent a little bit of time away from the game so I dropped down to A league but I feel pretty confident I should be able to get back in pretty soon and really the game is now at a pace that is perfect. If I want to just spend a couple minutes here and there setting my lineups for my 2 games/week, that's fine. If I want to start searching for more trainees like I know I should, I can do that as well and dedicate many more hours there.

My words of advice are simply do not burnout, it's okay to be excited and I recommend learning as much as you can and having a ton of fun, but in the end just know it will take a couple of years at least to get to the top and there is no shortcut so it's better to enjoy the ride up. I miss those days of scrappy fights and wonky tactics I used to use in B league; don't let them pass you by.

Wholly agree. Do not get yourself burnout. Been playing since 2005 and I am still in B league with scrappy fights, wonky tactics, and self imposed restrictions.

and I am still in B League with crappy fights, same tactics used since I coach Preston Singer, and virtually NO imposed restrictions..... :(

Thats interesting ,but i still advocate at least one league game in a week,because even that happens in real life.Not sure about the burn out part bu your more experienced than I.Just hard to get used to a four month season :P

You DO get one league game per week, except in the closed season. In the Closed Season there can not be scheduled league matches because of the Qualifying Matches to be played. So really only one week of 16 were everyone in league is not playing league game.
