A few points after just watching:
- First of all, favorable but reasonably deserved result. Perhaps not by the match score, but this was a fair result in that we won.
- Sebek: One game doesn't make up for the (I'd say) 3 results that were absolute RNG garbage. Our country's owed this and at least another.
- Releme, to say it's been rigged against you all season is absolute nonsense. Your tactics over the season played a role in allowing this to happen. They weren't the sole cause, but a contributor.
I totally agree with Para's analysis of the situation at 16:48. Including this: "Something also makes me think that you might not yet developed full understanding of the game, a feel for it.". Releme, this isn't an insult. You've tangibly improved over the course of the season. This is to your credit. What is not to your credit is blaming every loss on the match engine. This (again) makes you no different than the previous adminsitration.
I'd suggest this lack of understanding contributed to previous leadership's issue as well. Hell, I'd argue it applies to over 90% of managers in this game. So many just get carried by players. Hell, I am still learning new things every month, and many in my country find me already capable.
I also thank Borkos for deciding to be part of the solution now. He's taught me a couple of things over my time here as well. Thanks, Borkos :)

I am experimenting with new and at times radical tactics all of the time in arcades. Like, I'm casually working on a 3322 now (basically wingbacks). Will it ever see league play? Maybe, maybe not. It's really personnel dependent, moreso than other formations in this ME. Folks will say it's insane, but I've done crazier stuff and won.
Every once in a while, they backfire - I had one in league this season that went this way. I feel like the only way to learn the match engine.. Other than downloading someone's brain like borkos, trga, lowping, or whoever.

As you mentioned, friendly tournaments are next season, and the elections for the new season have not been held yet, so it is not known what the opinion of the coach who will win the elections next season and lead the US national team is on this matter.
You entered the USA NT into these cups before the election results. All I'm doing now is surveying the community's wishes. I'm being much more respectful than you are on this issue.
My opinion has always been the same, friendly cups are an obligation and everyone should participate in them and win more medals for the country. In my opinion, they should even recognize these cups as official. In every country that I have coached, I have played in friendly cups and in each of these countries I was at least in the top four. In the USA I won the silver medal twice, in Indonesia I won the Asian Cup, in Kenya and Morocco I came 4th.
USA NT is not your personal team. The coach of USA NT is not the president of Russia either. The American community is the one who will decide which cups USA NT will participate in.
The future coach will decide on this, because he will lead the national team.
You could only conduct such surveys after the elections if you were to become the coach next season, otherwise they are pointless.
