I think he means why isn't it official

Finally ^^ Thanks :-)

Obviously because they don't want anyone to be able to manipulate expectations easily.

It's a stupid move. If devs 's goal was "spend your money to challenge" it should be official. Im quite sure nobody want to spend all their money to manipulate expectations easily :-)

Yeah, as i said, you missed the goal.

My fans mood was below the max limit even before. There is literally no change for me.

The reason why i accumulate money is that one day i will spend it. But i wont till i know i can buy 11 players that can compete in the first league. I am still far from that,

I was in the first league for many many seasons and the financial aspect of being there does not make any sense. I was loosing money every season. If one could at least break even, then i would stay there.

Imho: You should spend time on making the game attractive for new users. Finish the redesign of all pages, its mess right now. Then you need to do something for retention of the new users. Give them challenges that gives them some reward after they complete it. Also give them more starting money and better starting team.

you can be sure that money is the most important factor for seasonal expectations, The_Ripper is right here

Raul confirmed that when he posted the DD in linguist forum for translations

I think that with your ideas you are trying to create a completely new game, that will never happen here.
That a good news , i'm loosing too much time here !

Btw. farming teams don't give a fuck about 3x 14 players, they make money on 16-17yo players.
Really ?

i am trusting you guys, that's not the question. It should be official.

I must say I agree with you. How are users, who don't read forums, supposed to know about this pivotal element of the expectations, so they can manage their team accordingly?

And why on sweet earth is this confirmed in the linguist forum, but not made explicit in the official DD? o.O

Hello Raul, I think you are not thinking long term.
Penalizing teams with more money for not spending all their money in a season is a serious mistake. Managers, when we plan, are looking not only at the current season, we project at least 2 to 3 seasons. In the higher leagues, those of us who like to compete, the players become less valuable and generating money in Sokker costs a lot, so you cannot spend everything in one season.

I understand that you are less active and perhaps only view the current season, but you should think about teams that have money spending a percentage of their money and not all of it. It can't be done

On the other hand, I think the punish paradigm is not attractive. Have you thought about how to reward the teams that do compete for the championship?

End of season bonuses are poorly calculated. In Chile, the champions of the 2nd division receive more money than those who finished 3rd or 4th in the 1st division. The competition in the 2nd division is not comparable with the 1st division
2024-04-05 14:50:28
The last thing you mentioned about the end season bonus is absurd indeed.
Why should you play in 1st division in this game? It is becoming less and less and less etcetera attractive to play there.
The game is getting a non competitive game more and more as it was already.
I hope Raul will listen to us, orherwise it will be no sense to play there in the future. And since the fun of training youngsters to get profit will be banned also I am thinking of retiring from the best game I have ever played.

The problem is that they make changes to achieve many things that are impossible to be achieve together

For example:

They want to promote playing for results, so it should be financially beneficial - at the same time they want teams at the top to rotate regularly, so you can't stay long at top level = you can't earn much more

They want to make people earn less on training and trading - at the same time they would like new/small teams to improve fast

They want to make playing for results, going higher in league etc. the best way to improve the team - at the same time they want to lower all income (tickets, sponsors etc.) to take away money from the market

You can't combine those, there is no coherent big picture, there are just puzzles of different pictures, scattered all over the place
2024-04-05 15:06:08
In other words, if you are a top team playing for 80+:
- They want you to be competitive and play for 80+
- At the same time they don't want you to be good for long
- So they force you to have many reserve players (injuries, more games, games played twice a week)
- You also have to pay your players more (wage increase)
- Now they decrease your fan mood so you will earn less
- They also plan to decrease the incomes even further

So:
a. you need a lot of money to create your 80+ team
b. even more money to be able to keep it for a couple of seasons because you will lose LOTS of money every season
c. after couple of seasons at top you will have 25-30% of your peak money level
d. you have to start over - but to get from 25% to 100% again - you have to go to lowest level and train for many seasons
e. but they don't want you to do that - so they will punish you as much as they can because they want to force you to be competitive... even though you can't because being competitive made you lose 70% of your money xD

How is that a good plan for them - I have no idea.
But indeed the whole game economy is so fucked up right now, that I'm not sure if there's still a working scenario here.

that's the main problem imho

- They want you to be competitive and play for 80+

that's not correct I guess - they want a lot of equal teams maybe around 70 and the best tactician at the top. And new managers should reach that 70 pool in an adequate time. I don't know what to do to get such a situation...
2024-04-05 15:18:29
In my opinion it's simply not possible. There will always be people who gathered money and can play for 80. So others won't be able to "stop" after reaching 70, they will also have to aim (and gather money) for 80. Otherwise they will win nothing.

Yes, they made a mass of it.
And what worries me the most is that they are still convinced it will work...
Come on Raul, some of us are playing this game for ages and for hours every day, we know best what will work.

I love this game, dont destroy it.

But if you have extra money, your expectations would increase, we will see how much is this affected as now curves change slowly.
If you are the champion and you have 10000M. it wont affect anything as expectations cant go higher.

The problem I see is the difference of prices and player'smarket. It is not possible that a one lucky youth get sold 4x or 10x more than the price of 1st division league. But this is a different problem, which must be taken into consideration soon, otherwise these isolated solutions will break even more the economy
