nothing is meaningless, not even the friendlies. They are rated as off. Games and if someone wants to achieve something it is not a beneficial way.

That means that these spaces are useless... which would be an even worse conclusion to just the injuries

If he recovers as my player than he will be out for at least 5 weeks.
My player got injured for 25 days exactly two weeks ago. Now it says that he will be out for 17 days :D

The game wants you to buy more players of similar level. You can't any more f.e play with 4 mids as before and use all of them for almost whole season.
In this example, trim down your squad quality and buy 6 similar mid players and maybe one with a little bit lower skills.
Such situation can me be managed, it is not super fun for users, but it is what it is.
Nobody complains about extra income from supporter tickets(we now have home game every week, and therefore extra income without any extra costs).
It is the way the game works currently.
My biggest concern is TRAINING. There is literaly nothing managers can do about it.
In this example, trim down your squad quality and buy 6 similar mid players and maybe one with a little bit lower skills.
Such situation can me be managed, it is not super fun for users, but it is what it is.

And where does the 2GK, 6 Mids, 6 Defs and 4 Strikers you need to be "secured" from injuries if you want to be competitive come from? Players will get more expensive every season without limit in my opinion. So the only way to the top will be to train for a few season in a lower league, make money, buy a golden generation, eventually go to the top for a few seasons until your players are to old. Rinse and repeat. Funny isn't it?
