Onderwerp: [idea] Reward for NT Coaches

I think NT Coaches should be rewarded in some way for all their hard work... Free PLUS for the period that they train an NT is a bit to much and counterproductive for the development of sokker.... but at least the possibility to upload and display their club logo for free (for example), would be a nice thing (at least for non PLUS users).
There should be some kind of reward that is useful for both PLUS and non-PLUS users... T-shirts with the sokker.org logo... a pen or something...

i was transferring my free plus in the past to our coaches cause is good NT coach to have plus feature
Giving that as default or prize is not good idea

The election IS the reward.
Imo, the only thing the coaches need is a good in-game interface to manage their NT team!
A good in-game database is a necessity!

Rewarding NT managers with a T-shirt, a pen or a bumpersticker results in a win-win solution. Managers get the feeling of being appreciated and sokker gets publicity!

Its not work. It should be fun and everyone who decides to become a NT manager should do it only because he wants to do it. Not for rewards.

It would be nice to give a symbolic gesture here. NT and U21 are often contact persons for new managers and promote the life of a community. Unfortunately, such jobs are far too little appreciated.

But it shouldn't be PLUS for the whole time, but something smaller, like 2 weeks PLUS after the end of the season. That would be a small gesture also on the part of Sokker Devs.

And I would not necessarily say that the elections are already a reward!

I did knew that humans feel that they deserve everything without doing too much (or anything if possible) for it, but I had no idea that so many people would be jealous if somebody is rightly rewarded for a service that they do, even if the reward is symbolic... like a pen... and even if the reward process/policy doesn't affect them in any way, shape or form !!!!
This is sad but it's actually refreshing at the same time, it makes me feel better about myself.... I might not be going to HELL after all (I hope) ... it might be overcrowded already :-)) !

People explained to you why they don't see any need for gratification for NT coaches. Now from another point of view, the owners.

There are 98 countries in the game = 196 national coaches.

Now imagine the task of getting shipping address of each of those 196 NT coaches, packaging and shipping costs for packages all around the world, from USA, through Africa, to Australia. And you'd want them to do that every season, just to send some stupid pens or cups (that are not even created so they'd have to custom design them and order them in small amounts). I'll be amazed if you're older than 15.

We are talking principles ! I have said it right from the beginning that it could be as little as free logo upload for non PLUS members for their teams! A special kit for the players on match day... you could do a lot without licking one single post stamp! Sending a freaking bumper sticker doesn't cost more than 2 euros worldwide! It doesn't have to be every season and it can be a cumulative reward... for every 3 seasons let's say.... for the top 10 NT Coaches.... something, some gesture... freaking best NT coach of the week newspaper ... I don't work for sokker so I won't lay it down for you to the smallest detail!

You've heard from people who actually were NT coaches, nobody sees any reason for such nonsense

If anything, when I was NT coach, I often gave some rewards to the community (plus rewards, giving people chance to set the team/tactic in 1 game, rewarding winners of competitions with giving their player chance to play in NT etc.)

Being NT coach WAS the reward, not "hard work". It's one of the most fun things in the game. People want to do it and if the find it hard work and need to be rewarded... just don't become NT coach in the first place.

What you're proposing doesn't bring anything useful and would be just a nuisance for the owners.
As for "principles" - this is a game that people play for fun, why would anyone reward them for playing the game that they want to play?
