Onderwerp: [idea] Champions League places

Those are the 2 options. Either you cut the money for the top clubs and they bitch and moan, or you expand so more clubs benefit (and the top clubs still bitch and moan). It's almost as if they don't want the game balanced ;)

Best teams deserve CL I'm against all teams to have international games

Increase number to play will make internal championship more interesting till end
Just check last round in polish top division and you will see

Maybe income of those games can be reduce in order to have license to play..

Expansion wouldn't hurt the CL teams in any way, they'd still reach the end stages and they'd earn more money getting there.
There needs to be a realisation that the health of the game as a whole is more important than the top 100 clubs. What I find strange is that the devs have realised this, but decided that instead of lifting everyone else up, they'll just make it more difficult for the top clubs. That's not an effective way of fixing things, it is locking the stable door after the horse has bolted.

Every game needs competion and best teams to be encouraged not the opposite...
The best thing is in sokker allows with good tactics and training to progress quickly and and that should be encouraged

Not the teams that play safe in lower division and attack top once in a while...

Have a look around the leagues. Do you feel that the game is competitive?

"The best thing is in sokker allows with good tactics and training to progress quickly"

Well that's flatout not true.

Check Copacabana team in our top division he has super tactics trains well and beats teams with 10 15 y in game so it's true :)

Actually a big expansion would hurt top teams because then it would be absolutely inevitable to remove revenues from the international games if we don't want Venezuelan type inflation :)

The other solution would be to cut significantly ticket revenues from all mathes.

And even without a CL expansion, ticket revenue from all games still has to be cut more or less because inflation continues to rise, but the. devs are afraid to do it.

CL expansion proposed is 1 extra round so it's not big deal...
2024-03-09 18:37:08
By the way CL in my experience gives me more expenses it's graveyard with injuries with options to heal injuries fast those money will be removed easily from game...

Yes, one round won't make big difference, I'm talking more about a bigger expansion with a group stage etc and especially in the case of implementing the original idea of international matches for all teams (which I don't know if it's totally scrapped or not).

He's been in the game 2 years, he's 5th and it's a small league. For every example you give, there are 100's who aren't able to move up.
Just a brief look around the leagues and you'll see the same clubs winning every season. It's gotten so bad in England that teams don't want to promote to the top. And those are long-term established clubs. For new clubs, this game verges on unplayable.
I saw someone write a guide for new users earlier today. Their advice? Don't touch the stadium, don't touch the youths, don't buy players or coaches. And they're right. The game as it is is broken for new clubs, the economy has raced so far into the distance that large aspects of the game are unaccessable for new clubs. That has to be fixed, and you fix it by giving more opportunities for new clubs to close the gap. Personally I think the easiest way to do that is a guaranteed minimum income, but opening up competition would be another way.

Camus naar Camus
I'm honestly tired of talking about this when all I hear back is

"What about me? What about the big clubs?"

It's short sighted verging on selfishness. Maybe when the game is down to 1k users you'll realise that the health of the game as a whole is more important than a handful of clubs in the Champions Cup.
2024-03-09 18:54:48
Well there is issue with new teams but that's not the topic here they need better players and starting money to map inflation...
2024-03-09 18:55:49
Everything is connected.
2024-03-09 18:56:08
When I started back then I also did not played for results it's a slow game you need patience...
2024-03-09 19:05:29
When you started, the game was a lot more balanced.
Well no, actually it wasn't. It was 5 years old and the problems built into it had only just started surfacing. We're now 20 years in and those problems are out of control. The devs seem to have realised this, but fixing it at this stage requires big changes that they're unwilling or unable to make.
